Well it’s been like a year and half to go from 0.1 to 0.2 but we’re there. Check it out. Starting today I’m going to be shooting for a new release every weekend until the project moves into beta. Thanks to some brand new VM software I now have Microsoft SQL Server 2005 running along side Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to test compatibility and new features. This release received preliminary testing on 2005 and I must say very little broke. I was quite pleased. What did break has been tweaked on so it should be functional again. If not, hey, it’s only 7 days till 0.3. =)

Ok, apologies on the un-imagineably long delay between releases. I just got a notice from SourceForge that someone wanted to take over the project. If I’d completely lost interest in this software I would have released it, but I still want to develop it. Currently I have just good intentions. I’m going to try and focus and turn those intentions into a new release on or before the 1st of April 2006. Thats right, I nailed myself to a date. Come hell or high-water, expect minor to mid-size cosmetic changes and a few bug fixes/updates.

It’s done. phpMSAdmin 0.1 (ALPHA) is ready for download please test it out, and report any bugs to avoigt@users.sourceforge.net. If you find a bug and fix it, I will accept either a “diff” of the two files or the full source of the file changed, and I will merge in the changes. The main source tree will be checked into CVS once the number of bugs/updates drops off some (at that time it will probably be a BETA relase).
